![]() ![]() Spare yourself the worst sushi you'll ever have. I didn't get to eat my food and we had to throw away what she couldn't finish as she's not allergic. I tried to call over 8 times over the last 3 hours and never got an answer. I've had this happen before while dining in and I don't mind it, but now I was an hour away from the restaurant. I got my food and drove home and to my surprise when I got home everything I ordered had avocado. Today I did a to go order I ordered 4 rolls and told the person on the phone I have an allergy to avocado and explained this to the man on the phone, he said okay and confirmed he heard me correctly. As you all will know the restaurant is located in downtown Greenville and I live about 1 hour away in Spartanburg. While I can live with everything above and am not picky or hard to work with there's one issue I can't get over. The service is always okay at best, I've eaten here multiple times when it wasn't busy and my drink never stayed full. While I wish it was a little cheaper sometimes you gotta pay for quality. The food here is absolutely amazing and everything I have tried has been very fresh and so so good. I've eaten here a many of times and as much as I want to give a higher rates review, I can't. Wait staff 3-5 star depending on when you go If you love regular sushi, then you'll be hard pressed to find a better place to go. It has fried white fish, rather than raw. If you're not sure about trying sushi, the New York fried roll is a good place to start. It is a lot of food for the price, and will allow you to sample their egg/spring rolls, sushi, and an entre with a side of rice. If it's your first time, I recommend getting the Bento Box. We've gone many many many times and never had anything taste bad. I enjoy the spring rolls and salad with their ginger dressing. The food is highly recommended! My husband and kids love the egg rolls and the egg drop soup. So if you're impatient about someone learning, it may not be the best time for you to go. ![]() The service at lunch on weekdays have been hit or miss, especially with new servers. This seems to be when the wait staff that's been there the longest works. I hope that the chef can adjust and make some changes in regards to the salt and flavors.Ĭonsistently good service on evenings and weekends. The waitress was very polite and staff were very polite even after we expressed our disappointment. The coconut rice had hints of coconut and was good. ![]() The curry was thin and just muted in flavor. The Red Curry was also salty except unlike the Spicy Basil it lacked flavor. It had good flavor but the amount of salt ruins the dish. I’m still undecided if the wrap was uncooked on the inside or if it was just the softness of the veggies.Īs far as the main dishes go, The Spicy Basil was so incredibly salty my tongue was burning and I’m not one to usually complain about salt content. The cripsy spring rolls have a thicker wrap than I’m used to but the inside flavor was good and the dipping sauce as well. We also ordered some crispy spring rolls. Based on the reviews we were hopeful it would be as good as it appeared. My wife and I were really excited to ring in the new year with this place. ![]()
